The Fiber Society invites submissions of original research papers for oral and poster presentations at its 2017 Spring Conference, scheduled for May 17 to 19, 2017, at Institut fur Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen University (ITA RWTH-Aachen) Aachen, Germany. Papers on fundamental research related to the science and engineering of fibers and fibrous materials are being solicited. Submissions of original work related but not limited to the following themes are welcomed: Natural Fibers and Green Processing, Smart and Functional Textiles, Nanofibers and Applications, High-Performance Fibers and Composites.
