Sh. Suketu Narendrabhai Shah holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Diploma in Textile Chemistry (D.T.C.) from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, and is a Gold Medallist. He completed his academic qualifications in the year 1983 and has over 42 years of extensive professional experience in senior management and leadership roles within the textile and denim manufacturing industry. He is presently working as Business Head and Chief Executive Officer of Vishal Fabrics Limited, where he is responsible for overall business and operational management of the organization. His responsibilities include strategic planning, operational control, performance improvement, and providing leadership across production, quality management, cost optimization, and customer-focused operations. He is actively involved in streamlining systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity and in ensuring effective coordination between marketing and manufacturing functions.

He is also acting as Secretary Denim Manufacturers Association.

Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Executive and Business Head of LNJ Denim, a denim fabric manufacturing division of RSWM Limited, from December 2018. Earlier in his career, he held senior and responsible positions with reputed organizations including Arvind, Raymond UCO Denim, Modern Denim, Aarvee Denims, Mafatlal Denim, and APAC Inti, Indonesia. Across these assignments, he handled key functions relating to production, operations, product development, quality assurance, general management, marketing, and customer services.

His professional experience includes development and implementation of operating procedures and internal control systems, supervision of activities from product development to bulk production, monitoring of quality standards, ensuring timely execution of orders, and management of large-scale manufacturing operations. He also has significant experience in procurement and vendor management, including strategic sourcing of yarn, dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries, identification and development of reliable vendors, and cost optimization while maintaining quality and supply consistency.
